Perfect!

We've only used it a couple times so far, but it's been great. Keeps him warm and dry, love the little hood. Haven't really tested it in heavy mud or water but happy so far.

Best thing for outdoor play and wet weather. We love using it for daycare.

I was advised not to size up as the suit is meant to fit layers underneath but I think it's even a bit big accounting for that. My 21. 5 lbs, 12 month old has plenty of space in an 18 month suit to get lots of good use out of it (it may actually fit him at 18 months).
My kid doesn't mind wearing it and easy to put on. It feels like a durable material as well
