We have two and both kids love them. Took 2 minutes to install and the smaller size compared to other convertible car seats is what sold us in the end. They look super comfortable and we would highly recommend!

We purchased the Britax Poplar S through Snuggle Bugz on Wednesday, July 3. It arrived on Friday, July 5, and I attempted to install it on July 7. Upon attaching the seat and opening the Click Tight Hatch to thread the belt, a metal piece fell out (as shown in the pictures). After inspecting it, I realized it was faulty because the right-side latch was locked into place and would not come out. I took photos, slid the piece back in, and closed the unit to take another photo to help explain the problem. While the Click Tight feature initially worked, the broken latch prevented it from opening again. The seat locked in place, and despite my best efforts (short of cutting the seatbelt parts out), I couldn’t remove it.
I called Britax and spoke with customer service, who informed me the process was different because I am in Canada. They sent me an email, and I provided all the requested pictures and explanation, which was all sent within one hour of that conversation, but there were no follow-ups from Brtiax. Despite multiple assurances, I had yet to receive any communication regarding my inquiry.
I called again on Friday, July 12, and was promised an update by Monday, July 15. We were also told we should have received an email shortly after providing the information on July 8.
I followed up, yet again on July 16 letting them know how frustrated I am with them. It is now Thursday, July 18, and there has been no contact whatsoever. This level of service is highly disappointing, especially from a company specializing in baby products and competes on the middle to upper end of baby products. One of their competitors had a problem with their baby car seat, and sent a new one within 2 days of us addressing the problem to them.
The lack of communication and delayed resolution has left me with no confidence in their ability to provide adequate service or to protect our child. It has also left our child without a safe car seat for an unacceptable period since our initial purchase.
The Britax Poplar S that we recently purchased has broken upon installation. When opening the click tight hatch, one of the locking pins broke off along with the plastic attached to it. We are unable to remove the car seat as everything is stuck.
What is the absolute worst is the customer service that Britax offers. Despite multiple attempts to e-mail and call, their lack of communication has been terrible and unacceptable. Britax is absolutely horrendous in comparison to the previous company we purchased our last car seat. We have lost all confidence in this car seat and any other products Britax offers. We have yet to receive a response/call back and currently have a broken, unusable car seat occupying our back seat.
We previously had the Britax Boulevard and I love the slim design of the Poplar as well as the additional features.
The added cupholders is a nice bonus for our toddler and the fabric of the seat is nice for warmer days.
