Snuggle Bugz Long Form Contest Rules, Terms, and Conditions.
By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be legally bound by these Official Contest Rules (the “Rules”).
1. Contest Period
The Contest runs on a month-to-month basis (the “Contest Period”).
During the Contest Period, one (1) eligible entrant will be selected each calendar month to receive the applicable monthly prize described below.
Each monthly entry period will begin at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the 20th day of the applicable month and end at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the 20th day of the following month, unless otherwise specified by the Sponsor.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who:
- have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry; and
- are not employees, officers, directors, representatives or agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, or any person involved in the administration or execution of the Contest, or members of their immediate families or persons with whom they are domiciled.
For purposes of these Rules, “immediate family” includes parents, siblings, children, spouses and common-law partners.
The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and may require proof of identity, age, residency or eligibility at any time.
3. How to Enter
Eligible individuals may enter the Contest by completing the official Contest entry form available on the Contest page during the applicable monthly entry period and providing the information requested.
Limit of one (1) entry per person per monthly entry period, regardless of the number of email addresses or accounts used.
Entries generated by script, bot, macro, automated means or any other means that artificially increase an entrant's chances of winning are prohibited and may be disqualified.
All entries must be received by the applicable monthly entry deadline.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
4. Email Marketing Consent
By entering the Contest, an entrant may have the option to separately consent to receive promotional emails from Snuggle Bugz.
Marketing consent is not required to remain eligible for the Contest.
An entrant may withdraw their consent to receive promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in Snuggle Bugz marketing emails or by following the applicable unsubscribe process.
Withdrawing marketing consent will not affect an entrant's eligibility or an otherwise valid Contest entry.
Marketing emails will be sent in accordance with applicable Canadian anti-spam laws. Snuggle Bugz will maintain records of marketing consent as required by applicable law.
5. Monthly Prizes
There will be one (1) prize awarded each month during the Contest Period.
Each monthly prize consists of:
- One (1) $500 CAD Snuggle Bugz gift card.
The approximate retail value of each prize is $500 CAD.
The total number of prizes available during the Contest Period is 1, for a total approximate retail value of $500 CAD.
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable or convertible to cash, except where permitted by law. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control.
Any costs or expenses associated with the use of the prize that are not expressly described in these Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. Monthly Draws
A random draw will be conducted for each monthly prize from all eligible entries received during the applicable monthly entry period.
The monthly draw will be conducted by the Sponsor or an individual designated by the Sponsor at the end of the contest period.
The odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable monthly entry period.
An entrant who is not selected during one monthly entry period must submit a new entry in order to participate in subsequent monthly draws.
7. Selected Entrant Notification
The selected entrant will be contacted using the email address or other contact information provided at the time of entry.
The selected entrant must respond within five (5) business days of the first attempted notification.
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
- correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question; and
- satisfy all eligibility requirements and otherwise comply with these Rules.
If the selected entrant:
- cannot be contacted within the required time period;
- fails to respond;
- fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question;
- cannot satisfactorily demonstrate eligibility;
- is otherwise ineligible; or
- fails to comply with these Rules,
the selected entrant will be disqualified and the Sponsor may conduct another random draw from the remaining eligible entries until an eligible winner is selected.
The Sponsor is not responsible for unsuccessful notification attempts or for any change in an entrant's contact information.
8. Winner Confirmation
Once the selected entrant has successfully completed the verification process, including correctly answering the skill-testing question, they will be declared the winner.
The winner's first name and last initial may be published on the Sponsor's website, social media channels or other promotional materials for the purpose of announcing the winner, subject to applicable law and the winner's consent where required.
The winner may be required to sign a declaration and release confirming compliance with these Rules, eligibility and acceptance of the prize.
9. Prize Delivery
The prize will be delivered to the confirmed winner using the contact or delivery information provided by the winner.
The Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to distribute the prize promptly following confirmation of the winner.
The Sponsor is not responsible for a prize that cannot be delivered because the winner has provided incorrect or incomplete contact information.
10. General Conditions
By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law, to disqualify any entrant who:
- violates these Rules;
- tampers with the entry process;
- attempts to participate using fraudulent, deceptive or automated means;
- provides false or misleading information; or
- otherwise attempts to interfere with the proper administration of the Contest.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Contest, or any portion of it, if fraud, technical failures, human error, unauthorized intervention or any other circumstance beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Contest.
If the Contest is terminated before the scheduled end date, the Sponsor may, to the extent permitted by law, conduct a random draw from all eligible entries received before the termination date.
11. Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering the Contest, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives and advertising and promotional agencies from any liability arising from or related to participation in the Contest or acceptance, use or misuse of the prize, except to the extent prohibited by law.
The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, delayed or misdirected entries, or for technical failures, website interruptions, network failures, computer or software malfunctions, or any other technical problems that may affect participation.
The Sponsor is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage resulting from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession or use of any prize, except to the extent prohibited by law.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be collected, used and disclosed for the purposes of administering the Contest, verifying eligibility, contacting selected entrants and fulfilling prizes, and for other purposes described in the Sponsor's Privacy Policy.
Where an entrant separately provides consent to receive marketing communications, their information may also be used for those marketing purposes in accordance with that consent and applicable law.
An entrant may withdraw marketing consent at any time. Withdrawal of marketing consent will not invalidate an otherwise eligible Contest entry.

13. Meta Disclaimer
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram or any of their respective affiliates.
By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability arising from or related to the Contest.
The information provided by entrants is being provided to the Sponsor and not to Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook or Instagram.

15. Governing Law
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
These Rules are governed by the laws of the province or territory in which the Sponsor is located and the applicable laws of Canada.
If any provision of these Rules is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Official Rules
A copy of these Official Contest Rules will be made available to entrants throughout the Contest Period.
By entering the Contest, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Official Contest Rules.
