Starling Smart Bassinet

I'm very impressed with this bassinet and am very happy with it. My little one prefers movement when sleeping, without this bassinet, she slept for only a few hours at a time. With this bassinet, she sleeps 6+ hour stretches at a time. Good sleep is worth it for me, though I do wish companies wouldn't overcharge for basic technology (the movements aren't complex and the tech is definitely not revolutionary either) and the fact that they want to make money off of parents already spending so much money on a new baby. Also, I do wish the mattress/space was bigger so it would last longer. That aside, I love how it looks and the actual mattress is nice. Another thing that slightly annoys me is how far out the legs are. My partner and I have stubbed our toes so many times on those legs. It's not awful but they are further out that other bassinets that we've used. The app works well and I like that I can turn it on/off from there and make any adjustments, plus it was easy to pair with and I have had no issues with connectivity. Finally, I have yet to reach out to Maxi-Cosi but after using it for about a month, the mechanics that move the bassinet started to make louder sounds than when we first got it. It's not too loud but I'm concerned that it means it'll breakdown, I'm really hoping not since we love the bassinet and so does my little one!
