Amazing!

Every highchair has their pros and cons, but I was SHOCKED by how frustrating I found this chair given it is the "must have" highchair.
1) VERY difficult to adjust and click in parts. You feel like you are on the cusp of applying enough force to break the plastic parts every time you need to adjust.
2) The Tray- The bottom of the tray is like a spiderweb/mesh design full of dozens of small spaces for food to get caught in when the baby crabs the tray with their sticky hands. I curse every time I have to clean these small cracks out (which is every feed - aka 3-6x per day). No bowls stick to it (which i dont mind because it is made of a high grade plastic that wont/or is less likely to leach)
3) The cushion: requires the chair to be adjusted to properly fit the straps through the slits. No one has time for that, especially when you are cleaning that darn cushion EVERY DAY. I ended up just slipping it over the straps for a long time. However now that my baby moves more and needs to be strapped in the cushion wont fit over the straps. I WISH it was just a wipeable cushion that didn't need constant cleaning/adjusting.
4) STRAP PLACEMENT: OMG - the plastic hooks and attachments are right at the bottom of the chair back, so my poor baby always has the plastic of the straps digging into his lower back (unless of course I take apart his chair to insert the cushion - which I realistically cannot do).

There are other issues that i could go on about, but I know I am writing a novel here. Like every mom I felt pressure to get the best of everything (and most aesthetically pleasing when possible), but both my husband and I feel the same about this chair. Its expensive, challenging to use and honestly my baby has preferred almost every other highchair hes been in lol. Worth looking at other chairs!

Our baby adores this chair. However I am deducting a couple stars as the harness on the newborn set is extremely small and difficult to assemble. If you buy the storage add on, it is not possible to use it with the newborn set. Overall wish more thought had gone into the entire product for the price. But don't regret buying

Great quality and last till my kids grew up so wanted to get the same out for my sister
