Medela takes pumping to a new level with the Freestyle Hands-free breast pump. The Freestyle Hands-free is Medela's smallest and first wearable hands-free double electric breast pump, designed so you can carry on with other tasks while you're expressing. The compact, pocket-sized pump is a separate unit, allowing the lightweight collection cups to fit discreetly inside your bra.

The anatomically shaped collection cups fit seamlessly in most nursing bras and have been designed to be assembled in only three simple steps. The combination of 105° angled breast shields and 2-Phase Expression technology makes Medela’s Freestyle Hands-free breast pump the superior hands-free experience.

Horrible

If I could rate this as negative stars I would. Do not purchase this pump, not only is it wildly expensive, it is all hard plastic making it hurt when pumping - regardless of the flange size. There are other pumps with silicone or soft flanges that are so much more comfortable and don’t feel like you’re putting your nipples in a meat grinder.
Next, I purchased this on a Friday leaving the hospital as my baby wouldn’t latch and had a tongue tie. I wanted to “invest” in a good pump and unfortunately there isn’t much of a selection where I live and I couldn’t wait for delivery if ordering online. By the Monday, the pump would start malfunctioning and go from level 3 to level 9 - sending a shockwave to my breasts, causing extreme pain and frustration. This occurred multiple times during a pumping session regardless of if it was on a flat surface or not. As well tried to reset the pump and continued. Additionally, it comes with an adjustable string at the top? Not sure if they expect you to just carry it around on your wrist or what…
by Tuesday night the pump sporadically turned on and would not shut off - had to eventually let it die.
On top of all of this - called medela and they agreed to send a new one…. However they dont refund your money, give you a credit or offer any support during the time of it being shipped to you. In my case that was 4 days. They suggested I manually pump (I didn’t have a manual pump). Baseline customer service sucks - do not buy this pump or this brand.
