The Baby Jogger City Select 2 Stroller was created for parents who know the value of versatility. This multifaceted stroller is expandable to grow with your family — making it a parent’s dream come true. Let’s get into why this is a great option to consider when choosing a stroller!

The City Select 2 Stroller is the definition of versatile! Use it as a single stroller or switch to a tandem as your family grows. It can do about 24 different seat configurations to suit your needs and comfort. You can have your baby facing you, turn them around to see the world, or grab the adapter to safely click in the infant car seat. When the time comes for another baby, just grab a second seat kit. Both the included seat and the second seat* hold your little ones from birth up to 45 lbs — which is above and beyond other stadium-style strollers. If you’re not done adding to your family, no worries! Purchase the glider board* and yet another little one can tag along your adventures.

* Sold separately

Becoming a parent doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice doing the things you love. Baby Jogger builds gear that will keep up with both baby and you! Parents come in all sizes, that’s why The City Select 2 comes with a telescopic handlebar. Whether you are 4ft nothing or 6ft tall, the handlebar can be adjusted to your comfort. After all, less stress on your body means more fun on your adventures.

Designed to conquer curbs or whatever else comes your way.

The all-terrain wheels ensure you can venture everywhere you need to go...smoothly! Baby Jogger refers to their wheels as “forever air tires” as they are filled with materials that just won’t quit. Grass, playground, woods...they’ve got you.

Did we mention how amazing the canopy is?! The sunshade is 50+UPF rated to protect little ones on even the brightest of days. The canopy is adjustable to meet the height needs of your child and features a magnetic flap covering a peekaboo screen so you can check in on your sleeping beauty without waking them.

Now let’s talk about that seat!

You’ll find a 5-point puzzle piece harness that can easily be opened with one hand, which guessed it...fully adjustable to grow with its passenger. The single-handed recline allows the seat to go back all the way so baby can snooze when needed. Unlike the UPPAbaby Rumble seat, the calf support is easily adjustable on both seats for comfort and to allow access to the basket below. Plus, this seat is easy to clean, which means not even the muddiest of boots are cause for concern. Thank goodness, these Canadian winters can get super messy!

The City Select 2 is also a breeze to fold up and throw in your trunk! To fold the stroller, simply use the same motion you would folding up a blanket. Grab the stroller on either side and click the release. You can either remove the seat to fold it up, or keep it attached.

The stroller itself is only 26 lbs — which is about 4 lbs lighter than Baby Jogger’s other full-size strollers. Plus, it folds up about 20% smaller than other models, leaving you with more space for all the other stuff you need to haul around in your car.

The Specs:
  • Unfolded: 43.5 x 25.75 x 38.5" (110.5 x 65.4 x 97.7 cm)
  • Folded: 12.5 x 25.75 x 32.75" (31.75 x 65.4 x 83 cm)
On your way home, stop by the grocery store and pick up something for dinner. You will find there’s plenty of room to carry your shopping in this stroller’s expandable basket.* Getting items in and out of the basket is always easy, no matter the seat’s configuration.

To ensure your essentials are always in reach, there’s even a separate compartment on the back of the seat to store your keys and wallet. If you want even more space, pick up the Parent Stroller Console to keep your drink handy too.

*Holds up to 15 lbs.

In short, the City Select 2 is a fantastic option if you’re planning to have a couple of children or if you’re on the fence about being a one-and-done family. It is a tandem (or stadium-style) double stroller, which can be easier to navigate than a double-wide stroller. If you want to supersize your ride, be sure to check out these must-have accessories for the City Select 2 Stroller, here.

Also, it's important to note, the City Select 2 is the base model, so if you do want to upgrade this stroller, check out the City Select 2 Eco. This model features upgraded premium TENCEL fabrics on the canopy and the padded seat, leather detailing on the handlebar, and belly bar (which is included on the Eco but sold separately on the City Select 2). Same amazing stroller, but just a little bit EXTRA to give it that modern vibe.
