Nuna AACE Booster Seat Review

You’ve probably heard of [or used] the Nuna PIPA, then the Nuna RAVA, and rounding out the Nuna family of car seats is the AACE Booster Seat. If you are shopping for a booster seat, then your little one's car seat days will soon be gone so you’ll want to make sure that you choose a booster seat that will actually last them until the end of their car seat career.

We love that the AACE can be modified to fit your growing child [comfortably] with its adjustable head rest, adjustable sides, adjustable seat, and more – bonus points that it can also morph into a backless booster – but we are getting ahead of ourselves.

It Grows With Your Child

We listed the specs above for your convenience, but the AACE can be used from 40-120 lbs, or 60” tall. Let us do the math for you – that’s 5 feet. Some moms and Grandmas are 5 feet, so you know that you’ll definitely be able to use this seat for years! The 10-position adjustable headrest allows the seat to grow up – and grow out as the sides of this seat can expand in width to accommodate a bigger body. We love that this shoulder system works simultaneously with the headrest and is so simple to adjust as needed.

Extendable & Expandable Seat

We mentioned that the AACE has expandable sides, but you can even adjust the seat depth! There is a lever under the front of the seat that gives you 3 different depths to choose from to accommodate a bigger bum or growing legs. Plus, when the time comes the AACE can be converted to a backless booster – we love a good old 2-in-1.

Machine Washable Fabrics

All black [caviar] comfy cozy foam and fabrics will make your big kids feel like the pre-teen that they are with a sleek seat that looks like it is part of your vehicle. There are even ventilation panels within the shell to keep your rider cool!

The included clip-on cupholder is the cherry on top giving them a place to put their Frappuccino – your little one sure has come a long way from their rear-facing days! *cue the tears*

Safety in Every Stage

The AACE is made with energy-absorbing foam and side impact protection pods. We also love that it can be installed using UAS rigid latch [that fold into the base for simple storage] with red/green indicators.
