The Donkey 5 Mono was made for busy parents! It comes with a seat frame that can be converted into bassinet or toddler seat, and a 35L side luggage basket. It’s designed for three different configurations, making it one of the most convenient (and ingenious) strollers on the market:

Mono:

In the Mono configuration, a single child can either lay in the bassinet or sit in the seat, when they reach the proper age. The side luggage basket is attached to the frame and sits next to the child. This generously-sized basket gives parents a place to keep essential items like bottles, stuffies, and snacks handy.

Because the luggage basket is located at an elevated level, it makes it really convenient for you to get belonging in and out (no need to bend down!) Note: The luggage basket can only be used in Mono mode.

Duo:

Two children can sit together using the Duo configuration. The frame telescopes sideways, expanding from a 24” Mono width to a 29” Duo/Twin width. This gives enough room for parents to attach both a bassinet and the toddler seat at the same time, a great solution for families with a toddler and a newborn. For this mode you will have to pick up an extension kit.

Twin:

Physically speaking, the Twin configuration is exactly the same as the Duo configuration. The only difference is the seating you attach to the stroller, as Bugaboo markets it for parents of twins. In Twin configuration, you can attach two bassinets or two toddler seats for your babies to rest in. Note: If purchasing the Donkey 5 Mono Complete Stroller, you’ll have to purchase a secondary bassinet fabric, as well as an extension pack.

10 Fantastic Features

The Donkey 5 is filled with a host of features that make using it a real joy. Here’s a brief rundown of how convenient it is for parents and comfortable it is for kids:

1. Truly Transformative:
The main feature of the Donkey 5 stroller is that it’s designed to fit up to two passengers at the same time — transforming from a Mono stroller to a Duo/Twin stroller.

2. Take it Anywhere:
The perfect size (even at its expanded 29” width) the Donkey 5 can fit through most door frames so you’re not limited as to where you can go. (However, you may have some issues with narrow doorways when two car seats are attached.) It also folds/unfolds with relative ease, fitting into most cars and storing out of sight when not in use.

3. Seating Options:
Not only can your baby be seated in either the bassinet or toddler seat (or seat 2 babies at the same time), but you can also position them in parent-facing mode or world-facing. If you have one little introvert and one extrovert on your hands, no biggie, you can position one seat facing in and the other facing outwards — this is also a great position for sibling bonding as your kiddos are able to see each other.

4. High Position:
The stroller seats are positioned closer to parents so they can reach little ones easier and children won’t feel so far away.

5. Breezy Bassinet:
Ventilation is extremely important for keeping a baby safe, so Bugaboo designed a mesh window on their bassinet to move air through it at all times. A magnetic flap can be deployed to cover the mesh, keeping heat in on cooler days.

6. Rain Cover Included:
Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate with our plans, so a rain cover will keep baby dry when you’re running errands on wet days.

7. All-Terrain Wheels: The stroller sits on 4 rugged, puncture-proof wheels. Made out of EVA foam, they provide a smooth ride that can tackle any terrain you may be using the stroller on.

8. Cool Comfort:
Soft-touch, durable fabrics are found throughout the stroller so your baby can relax in comfort (they’re also water-repellant to keep things dry!).

9. Happy Harness:
Kids stay secure in the stroller seat with a generously-padded 5-point harness that’s a snug and comfy fit. It also has a quick-release button so parents don’t have to fiddle around with it on busy days.

10. Super Storage:
Not only does it come with a side luggage basket that can hold up to 35L, but the stroller also includes a basket under the seat for holding up to 22 lbs. of baby-related essentials!
