The Donkey 5 comes with a 35 L side luggage basket and a multi-use seat frame that can be converted to a toddler seat or newborn-friendly and sleep-safe bassinet. Both the toddler seat and the bassinet can be positioned in world-facing mode or parent-facing mode. 
  

Mono Mode 

As a single stroller, the Donkey 5 can be used with the side luggage basket. The side luggage basket attaches to the frame next to the child. 
 
While your little one is an infant, you can use the stroller with the sleep-safe bassinet. You can also turn it into a full-fledged travel system by attaching a compatible infant car seat to the stroller frame (adapters sold separately).

Compatible car seats we carry include: 

• Chicco KeyFit 30 (with mono adapter) 
• Clek Liing or Liingo (with mono adapter) 
• Maxi-Cosi Mico series (with mono adapter)

After the 6-month-mark, you can remove the bassinet fabric from the seat frame and convert it to a toddler seat. 

With the exception of a car seat and car seat adapters, everything you need to achieve these configurations comes in the Donkey 5 Mono box.

Duo Mode

Once a second little one joins the family, it’s time to convert the Donkey 5 to a side-by-side double stroller! Duo mode is designed to accommodate two children of different ages. To convert your stroller to duo mode, you will need to pick up an extension kit. 

Once you are ready, the Donkey 5 frame telescopes sideways, expanding from a 24” Mono width to a 29” Duo/Twin width. This gives enough room for parents to attach both a bassinet (or car seat) and the toddler seat at the same time, a great solution for families with a toddler and a newborn. When your newborn ages out of the bassinet, simply remove the bassinet fabric and attach the toddler seat fabric you received in the extension kit.

Twin Mode 

 Physically speaking, the Twin configuration is exactly the same as the Duo configuration. The only difference is the seating you attach to the stroller. In Twin configuration, you can attach two bassinets, two car seats, or two toddler seats. 
 
If purchasing the Donkey 5 Mono Complete Stroller, you’ll need to purchase an extension kit, and pram fabric (for the second bassinet).
