The Primo Viaggio All-in-One grows and changes with your child, offering three different installation configurations and a 12-position headrest & harness that allows you to adjust the fit in a snap — even when the child is in the seat!
Stage 1:
Rear-Facing.You’ll want to start using your new Primo Viaggio All-in-One in the rear-facing configuration. This stage is suitable for babies between 5 to 40 lbs., and a max height of 47 inches, so you can start using it right from birth. The car seat comes supplied with a tri-stage adaptive cushion for smaller infants, allowing you to ensure proper support and comfort on your first few adventures.
Stage 2:
Front-FacingOnce your child grows out of the rear-facing stage, you’ll want to flip your car seat to the front-facing stage. This stage is suitable for babies 22 to 65 lbs and a max height of 49 inches. Please note: rear-facing mode is by far the safest way for your baby to travel, so make sure they reach the maximum weight or height allowance of rear-facing mode (whichever comes first) before moving into this stage.
Stage 3:
BoosterThe final stage in your child’s adventures with the Primo Viaggio All-in-One is the booster seat configuration. The booster seat is designed to help children use the vehicle’s seat belts safely — remember that seat belts (and cars in general) are designed for adult bodies, so having a booster seat is very important to ensure the seatbelt sits correctly. This stage is suitable for kids from 40 to 120 lbs, with a height range of 39 to 63 inches.

Every element of this convertible car seat has been carefully considered, especially when it comes to impact protection.The Head Injury Criterion (HIC) and Head Acceleration tests measure the likelihood of a head injury arising from an impact. Primo Viaggio All-in-One achieves excellent stability results in both tests, consistently scoring: 60% under the maximum allowed weight limit for HIC 50% under the maximum allowed limit for Head Acceleration. These scores are achieved regardless of the orientation of the seat or the age of the occupant.
In addition, the Primo Viaggio All-in-One comes with a state-of-the-art Energy Management System with EPS and EPP layers in the shell and headrest, a robust fully integrated steel frame, and crushable inserts in the base offer an All-Round Protection system that protects your child from the high force loadings developed in a car crash.
